SPF-12 is a Sunday evening ministry for our junior and senior high youth. We meet together twice a month, usually on the second and fourth Sundays, from 5:00 to 6:00 pm for a time of Study, Prayer, and Fellowship. This ministry is lead by our awesome youth leaders Doug Griffith, Nell Shull, and Phil Lail. In addition to the regular rudiments of S-P-F our older youth also like to go on retreats, do fun outings, and support local mission work throughout the year.
Another aspect of SPF-12 is a new interest in starting a contemporary Christian music youth ensemble. So in January of 2010, we will launching this ministry under the leadership of our organist Brad Rashley and pastor Scott. The purpose of it will be to provide our youth with a venue to praise the Lord in a musical language that speaks to their hearts, souls, and minds.
